We use it to understand the general user’s sentiments, perspectives, requirements, and problem statement that we can apply as input for user-centric interaction design. It is also referred to as user persona, customer persona, or buyer persona.

Also, user persona can include generic statistical data if needed. Personas developed from such processes are referred to as data-driven personas.
We also learned its insights in the lab session organized on the same day. Then, we were able to be well-versed both in theoretical understanding and in practice as well.

Interaction Design is also referred to as IxD. It is the practice of designing an interactive digital product, services, ecosystems, and environments. It can go beyond the digital aspects since it can also be used to design non-digital products like mechanical or electromechanical systems. The related disciplines regarding interaction design are human-computer interaction, design research, ergonomics, cognitive psychology, architecture, and of course user interface design.
